Mabey Bridge recognised for outstanding record of occupational health and safety with fifth consecutive RoSPA Gold Award

Mabey Bridge, an Acrow Company, is pleased to announce it has received a fifth consecutive Gold Award from the internationally-renowned Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA). The award acknowledges Mabey Bridge’s successful health and safety management systems, exceptional control of risk, and low levels of error, harm and loss.

The annual awards programme was established in 1956 to recognise and reward organisations who demonstrate an ongoing commitment to health and safety standards, and is one of the most prestigious in the world. Each year, nearly 2000 entries are received, with a reach of over seven million employees.

Mabey Bridge has long distinguished itself for promoting a culture of health and safety across the business and established the multiple-award-winning ‘Think Safe: STEP123’ strategy to assess systems, tools, environment and people with a goal of keeping staff, customers, suppliers and partners safe, wherever in the world they are based.

Michael Treacy, CEO Mabey Bridge said,

“We are immensely proud to have achieved a Gold Award in RoSPA’s esteemed programme for the fifth consecutive year, and very pleased to have been recognised for our ongoing dedication to raising occupational health and safety standard. ‘Everyone home, injury free, every day’ is what we strive for, and at the heart of everything we do.”
