Mabey Modular Piers
Overview
Mabey Modular Piers are made using Compact 200 bridge panels, combined with heavy duty pier top grillages. They provide a robust, modular pier system capable of transmitting the loads from multiple span bridges safely down to ground level. The piers are pre-engineered and made from interchangeable parts, their pinned and bolted connections making them simple to build, dismantle and relocate.
Quick to assemble, Mabey Modular Piers form an integral part of our Emergency Bridge system providing rapid post-disaster relief whenever multi-span bridging capability is required. They are also suited to a variety of industrial engineering applications in support of complex construction projects where structures need to be safely supported. They are frequently used by transport authorities on public road diversions during bridge reconstructions, as well as on construction sites, haul roads and diversion crossings in support of long span temporary access bridges.
Mabey Modular Piers are also frequently supplied as part of the Mabey Logistic Support Bridge set to provide multi-span capability with this bridging system.
