Mabey Bridge commended for Health and Safety performance with 7th consecutive RoSPA Gold Medal Award
Mabey Bridge, an Acrow Group company, is delighted to note it has been awarded a Gold Medal Award from RoSPA for health and safety performance. The award marks the seventh consecutive year Mabey Bridge has collected the honour.
The internationally acclaimed awards programme was established in 1956 by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) and is one of the most prestigious schemes of its kind in the world. The programme recognises organisations’ commitment to continuous improvement in the prevention of accidents and ill health at work, looking at entrants’ overarching health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.
Mabey Bridge’s winning nomination was among more than 2,000 received each year from nearly 50 countries, and demonstrated evidence of the effectiveness of health and safety performance, policies and procedures. The judging panel included independent health and safety professionals, including specialist consultants and experienced senior practitioners.
Michael Treacy, CEO Mabey Bridge said,
“The health and safety of staff, customers, suppliers and partners across the globe is of fundamental importance to Mabey Bridge. We are very proud to have been acknowledged once more by RoSPA for our health and safety initiatives.”
